Tip Tig is a new automatic tig wire feed weld process. The Tip Tig process will be widely used at natural gas power facilities (including the proposed Jessup site). The class size is limited to 6 members, but we will continue running classes until any member that wants it has it. If you are interested in signing up for the class then click on “Register Now” at the bottom of this page. When I get the first 6 registrations I will contact each member and notify them with the date and time of the class. The instructors will be Scott McGeehan and Charlie Granahan.
The prerequisite for the class is a GTAW certification. We will except the UA certification or any 3rd party certification as long as the member has documentation to prove the 3rd party certification.
The next TIP TIG class will be held on October 24, 2015.
This class is full but you can keep registering for future classes. The members attending Octobers class will be Jim Kress, Joe Beacher, Terry Jones, Larry Benzie, Tom Chatawitz, George Linko, Rich Saikowski, and Dan Gadomski.
